BRASILIAN WIND ON SUMMER SS13

- BRASILIAN WIND ON SUMMER SS13 -

Lace | Neon Colour | Handcraft | White | ART
Some of my Summer Loves...

Simone Rocha Neon "Broderie" Dress. She is 26 and so talented. Her SS13 collection is the perfect balance between purity and romance. Inspired by Ed Templeton and Cy Twombly, the Show was refreshingly modern as well as timeless in its understated appeal.

The Knitted T-Shirt by Michaela Buerger. She learned the fine art of knitting from her mother in a small village in Austria. Her refined collection is all about sensibility, sweetness... A statement that is highly graphic and incontestably elegant.

Aurélie Bidermann MUST HAVE Do Brasil Cuf. DNA piece of Aurélie, it's the perfect accessory to enlighten our basics. The Wild Tropics SS13 is simply amazing: Soft and Strong, Chic and Fun , it's is designed for the daring lady with an eye for the evocative.

ERNESTO NETO | VUITTON INSTALLATION

Ernesto Neto is definitively the Brazilian Artist to Follow! Leader of the country art scene, the viewer is always part of Neto's installations. Interaction - Space - Multiple Senses - Humanist Qualities - Multi sensory Experiences... are the keys to understand his works. "Madness is part of life" exhibition @ Vuitton Space in Tokyo depicts how people should stop to hide the madness that is part of the life. Taboos have to be removed, passion has to be revealed.... It's impossible to escape the madness

The Vuitton installation "deals with stability, as well as discovery of how we move, desire, fear, and most importantly, of the fact our existence itself is part of a body that is 'Life'."

MARCEL WANDER | CROCHET CHAIR (MIAMI 2006)

Crochet Chair by Marcel Wanders designed for Design Miami in 2006 is still super actual! It synthesizes some of the Summer 2013 most important trends: White - Lace - Minimal - Handmade - softness versus rigidity... I love the subtle game of transparency, the romantic purity, the clinical white... Wanders defies the capabilities of fabric, forming it into a strong material capable of supporting the weight of human bodies.
